Microsoft Unveils New Office

This is not the "new iPad" but the "New Office" Microsoft does not seem at this point it having assigned a specific version name - although in a statement the editor speaks of family and student editions of Office 2013 RT.

Anyway, Steve Ballmer yesterday presented a version of "Customer Preview", that is to say not finalized, the latest version of its Office suite. A demonstration that allowed Microsoft to focus on the touch.

The editor emphasizes the different ways of using the latest Office (available for download), with, in addition to the classic use the keyboard and mouse, through the use of a stylus and then with your fingers since a tablet through the touch interface.

Side touch, Microsoft announced also that the RT terminal ARM Windows and tablet surface will integrate Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013 RT, featuring new versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote.

But the new Office is also a direct gateway to online services (Cloud) from Microsoft. Illustration: by default, documents are backed up from the Office on SkyDrive storage service editor.

A way as it can share documents between the different terminals (compatible). Regarding the availability of Office and prices of different editions, they were not provided by Microsoft.
