Google Drive for Linux?

When Google launched its much anticipated - given a rumor that lasted for years - cloud service called Google Drive support for desktop Linux distributions has been strangely overlooked. No client available for download for Linux. A boon to the media service as Ubuntu One (Dropbox is also available for Linux)? This is not the first time that Linux users are so "forgotten" by Google. It will be recalled for example that the Linux version of Google Chrome has been slow to appear after launching the Web browser. Still, Google did indeed intend to propose a Linux client for Google Drive. Work at this level has been confirmed and ongoing. No date has yet been advanced. As is often the case, community initiatives have sprung up like Thrush, an open source client for Linux written in C + + and uses Google Documents List API to provide access to files stored with the Google's service. Currently unstable, Thrush can not send documents on Google's servers Drive.
